Largest NEV Charging Station on Jiangsu Expressways Launched to Boost Green Travel
Source:

In recent years, China’s NEV industry has enjoyed vigorous development, with its production and sales volume growing rapidly and continuously. However, NEV charging still faces numerous difficulties and challenges. In expressway service areas, the limited number of charging piles, combined with the continuous surge in road network traffic – especially during holidays – often leads to long queues at charging stations and even a severe shortage of available charging points. This not only undermines the public’s travel experience but also raises safety risks.
"We must substantially increase the number of charging piles in service areas to effectively ease range anxiety, enabling electric vehicles to 'travel out, hit the road and return home safely', and letting more EV owners embark on long-distance trips with complete peace of mind." This was the clear goal set by the construction team at the outset of the Baoying Service Area project.
